AlternatHIVes for all

ADAMA works with with ill people of HIV positive without resources, many of whom live on the streets. Workshops are evolving and provide natural and complementary techniques of Health with the aim of improving the quality of life of these people, seeking their social reintegration.

The project is carried out at the headquarters of the Association of Anti-AIDS Ciutadana of Catalunya, and started with the election on the part of both entities and the users, from natural therapies that were considered most appropriate on the basis of their physical and emotional state. We must take into account that most people who attend the sessions are homeless or are in an advanced stage of the disease (and living on the street), living not only excluded from his own family, but also from society.

 

Flower Therapy, Reflexology, Massage, Shiatsu, Craniosacral Therapy, Art-therapy and meditation are the natural techniques in the project. You can see pictures of the activities below.

These projects are carried out thanks to the altruism of people who contribute financially with the institution, and public and private entities, that support innovative projects of social assistance.
